About The 100

The 100 is an American science fiction television series set in a post-apocalyptic Earth based on the Kass Morgan novel of the same name. It debuted on The CW in 2014 and is currently in production of its seventh, and last, season. After nuclear fallout devastates the entire globe, humans settled on the Ark, a spacecraft that orbits the Earth, hoping for an opportunity to return. The series follows the exploits of the titular “”100″” – teenage criminals outcast by the Ark 97 years later.

Kicked out as punishment for their crimes and because of overpopulation on the Ark, it’s hoped that they can establish whether the Earth inhabitable and start a base. Tentions rise between members of The 100 with some, like Bellamy Blake, seeing it as an opportunity to break free while others, like Clarke Griffin, want to communicate with the Ark and build a society. They are forced to unite in the face of the barbaric Grounders and the sinister Mountain Men who are survivors that stayed on Earth.
