About Breaking Bad

Breaking Bad is a neo-Western style television series by Vince Gilligan that first appeared on AMC in 2008 and ran for five seasons until 2013. The series follows Albuquergue high school chemistry teacher Walter White who is diagnosed with terminal cancer and spirals into depression. To make money to take care of his family once he is gone, he teams up with his one-time student and drug pusher Jesse Pinkman. Through many twists and turns, he establishes himself as a drug kingpin under the pseudonym “Heisenberg.”
