I always grew up loving Edward Scissorhands so I approached one of my friends who sews children’s clothing and asked if she could make an outfit like that in my son’s size and she did!
She made the shirt pants and studded pieces and neck piece. I used cardboard and cut them in the shape of scissors and used black duct tape for the scissor handles and grey duct tape for the scissor blades. We positioned and fastened the mock blades to some gloves. I found a long black children’s wig and cut it and styled it to match Edward Scissorhands hair. I also did his makeup to match as much as possible.
