Davy Jones from Pirates of the Caribbean. This homemade costume cost me about $100 and three weeks to make. I used molding clay, liquid latex, thrift store clothing, seashells, and lots of glue sticks. I used the clay to mold the shape of the mask and tentacles. I layered them with liquid latex. For the tentacles, I used Cheerios to make the appearance of the auction at the ends.
This costume was for my son. He is 10.
