Wasabi is hurt when his best friend Tadashi Hamada dies in a fire. So, he doesn’t hesitate when Tadashi’s younger brother Hiro Hamada asks him to join the Big Hero 6 superhero crew.
Wasabi’s intelligence translates right into his personality where he is a touch neurotic. He likes things in a particular way, but that keeps him in line and helps to control the stressful and sometimes dangerous situations the group faces. Even though Wasabi comes off a bit as a scaredy-cat, he thinks through plans before carrying them out because he is the common sense guy of the group. Wasabi has some serious fighting skills with his experience in Martial arts and armed with the plasma blades he created.
