About Trowa Barton
Mobile Suit Gundam Wing or the New Mobile Report Gundam Wing as it is known in Japan, is a 1995 Japanese mecha anime series. Directed by Masashi Ikeda and written by Katsuyuki Sumizawa, it is the sixth installment in the Gundam franchise, taking place in the “After Colony” timeline. The main plot of the series centers on a war in the future between Earth and its orbital colonies in the Earth-Moon system.
Aired in Japan on the Asahi network on TV, the series ran for 49 episodes, from April 7, 1995 until March 29, 1996. The Mobile Suit Gundam Wing anime series met with great acclaim and even received numerous manga and video game adaptations. Subsequently, four Original Video Animation (OVA) episodes were produced. This included a retelling of the series, renamed Operation Meteor, and a direct sequel, Endless Waltz. Another sequel to the anime series, Frozen Teardrop, was added in 2010 based on the new book written by Sumizawa, the original writer.
