Best Three Hole Punch Jim Costume Guide
Three Hole Punch Jim is in reference to the Halloween costume worn by Dunder Mifflin salesperson Jim Halpert, played by John Krasinski in The Office.
In the Season 2 Halloween episode, Jim puts in a particularly poor attempt at a Halloween costume, simply sticking three black dots on his normal shirt and referring to himself as ‘Three Hole Punch Jim.’ He claims the costume is just a three-hole punch version of himself, just like the paper he sells.

About Three Hole Punch Jim
Three Hole Punch Jim refers to a Halloween costume work by John Krasinski’s character in The Office, Jim Halpert. He appears in Episode 5 of Season 2, aptly titled ‘Halloween.’
There isn’t much of a story here; such is the nature of Jim’s character often being disinterested in his workplace. His apathy towards his job extends to the regular office attempts to bring fun to the workplace, and so his extremely un-creative Halloween costume is born.
Simply wearing his normal clothes and sticking three black circles on his shirt, Jim remarks that much like the paper he sells, there really isn’t much to him. “I’m a three-hole punch version of Jim. ‘Cause you can have me either way – Plain White Jim or Three Hole Punch Jim.”
