The Hitcher is often seen with a red and black cane, which adds to his eccentric appearance. Additionally, a fake eel or snake, often referenced in his dialogues, can be a humorous and character-specific prop to include.
The Hitcher is known for his cockney accent and bizarre, often nonsensical quotes. Some memorable lines include: "I'm The Hitcher, let me put you in the picture, creeping in your room in the dead of night, with me green lipstick and me dyed black hair.," "You wanna know about my thumb do ya, boy? Intrigue you, does it, boy? My thumb? The story of my thumb?" and "Elements of the past and the future combining to make something not quite as good as either." About The Hitcher
The Hitcher is one of the many characters that are part of The Mighty Boosh comedy troupe. Played by comedian Noel Fielding, The Hitcher is said to be a mix of Fagin from Oliver Twist and Fielding’s grandfather. He was first created for the stage show Autoboosh and later added to the radio series and TV show.
