Here you’ll find the Star-Lord Costume Guide FAQ (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 edition)! You’ll find all the essential information for dressing up as the charismatic and fearless leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy, Star-Lord, as portrayed in the second volume of the movie series.
To dress like Star-Lord in Vol. 2, you'll need a burgundy leather jacket with zippered and padded details, a black t-shirt, and gray or dark blue pants. Additionally, wear a brown leather belt with a holster and a pair of brown leather boots. Complete the outfit with Star-Lord's signature helmet or mask, which features red glowing eyes and an antenna on each side.
You can purchase a replica Star-Lord helmet or mask online, or you can create your own using materials such as foam, plastic, or papier-mâché. Be sure to include the red glowing eyes and antennas, as these are essential features of Star-Lord's mask. You can use LEDs or glow sticks for the eyes to achieve the glowing effect.

About Star-Lord vol. 2
As a young boy, Peter Quill, played by actor Chris Pratt, was raised by his single mother. He is a half-human, half-celestial being who was abducted by the Ravagers at a young age after his mother died from terminal cancer. Under the care of Yondu, the leader of the Ravagers, Peter Quill learned a lot of skills, most notably stealing and different cosmic cultures.
As he grew up, he decided to betray the Ravagers and leave them, stealing an orb for himself which Yandu wanted. He had already established his infamous reputation as Star-Lord and had become coincidently aligned with Gamora, Rocket Racoon, Groot, and Drax The Destroyer. He equips himself with an element gun which can fire four elements: Fire, Water, Air or Earth. He’s very protective of his Walkman, which was given to him by his mother. Together these outlaws banded together in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 with Peter Quill a.k.a Star-Lord as their leader.
