About Spider-Woman

Marvel Comics’ Spider-Woman was born as Jessica Drew to parents Jonathan and Merriam Drew. For the sake of her father and mother’s research, they moved to a place called Transia where she got severely ill due to exposure from uranium radiation. Her father injected her with a serum which saved her but in doing so, she was placed in a genetic accelerator where she woke up decades later only having grown 17-years-old.

She quickly discovered that she possessed superhuman strength, speed, stamina and reflexes. She is also able to cling to walls and other surfaces like a spider. In addition, she has far superior resistance to physical damage and attacks with a heightened sense of smell and hearing. In addition to the rigorous training she received from HYDRA and S.H.I.E.L.D, Spider-Woman was made into a deadly opponent capable of fighting powerful foes. She can also speak many languages such as Russian, Korean, French and Portuguese.
