About Spider-Man (Miles Morales)
Miles Morales is an artistic kid from Brooklyn, New York. After winning a scholastic contest, Miles was enrolled into Brooklyn Visions Academy, which meant he had to say goodbye to his friends. When school became too much for Miles, he would go hang out with his uncle Aaron, who helped Miles pursue his artistic dreams. While out with his uncle, he was bitten by a genetically modified spider which gives him arachnid powers the following day. Miles watches Spider-Man’s death and becomes overwhelmed with responsibility until Peter B. Parker arrives from his dimension.
Miles is unique to the other Spider-Men as he has powers such as camouflage and venom strike. Though Miles is young, he quickly learns what it means to be Spider-Man. And along the way, he overcomes many obstacles. His uncle’s betrayal and death hit him hard, but Miles got back up again, just as Spider-Man always does.
