Winter is coming, and you’ve come to the right place to get prepared! One of the very few survivors left in the HBO series Game of Thrones, Sansa Stark is our favorite victim. Follow our guide and we’ll have you looking like the lady of Winterfell herself. We begin with a 28-inch Witch Wig and an official Game of Thrones Sansa Dark necklace.
We continue with a Smocked Solid Elegant Lace Cocktail Maxi Dress and Handkerchief Hem Tunic Dress under a Velvet Hooded Cloak Role. We cap that with a Rooster Coque Feather Cape. For her footwear, we chose a pair of Mid Calf Zipper Slouch Suede Comfortable Boots and ended with a Black Gauntlet.
In another medieval based series, Game of Thrones has given us costumes well worth cosplaying. Sansa Stark very quickly goes from wide-eyed and trusting to seasoned and skeptical. Early Sansa cosplay involves lighter colors that compliment her fire-kissed hair. Due to the shows, widespread popularity, your local costume shop and naturally the internet are great sources for Sansa-like outfits. Naturally a wig or natural ginger will work for her tresses.
As the seasons passed, Sansa’s look became darker; she dresses mostly in black adorned with black feathers there days though her hair is just as fiery. For group cosplay, you can choose to bring back any number of doomed Stark characters like Rob or Catlyn Stark or choose one of the few left to emulate like Arya Stark and John Snow. The most timid of the Stark children, Sansa Stark, has had a rough deal. Once a hopeful child of summer, death, and brutality stripped the joy from her life and robbed most of her family of their lives. She no longer trusts anyone, no longer smiles and no longer hopes, she has abandoned them in the name of survival. She is a shadow. These things may have diminished the light in her eyes, but nothing has dimmed the flame of rage just beneath the surface.
Though her story continues, there is little doubt that Sansa Stark will come into her own and once again find protection in her father’s name. With older brother Jon Snow now at her side and the once again in the comfort of Winterfell, it is unknown if she will take part in the battle ahead. Given all she’s been through, fans wouldn’t begrudge her desire to stay within the safety of her home but knowing what we already know about this series; it would shock no one if she donned armor and led her bannermen into the fray.
