Rick Deckard is the main character of Blade Runner and is played by Harrison Ford. Rick Deckard is a rather complex character in the means that he’s supposed to be the hero of the movie but his job as a bounty hunter is to kill the replicants which are essentially runaway slaves. While he may show remorse or reluctance to kill them, he kills them either way and that could be part of the reason the character tends to be moody and drink quite heavily and often. Rick is not someone that gets close to others and he spends quite a lot of time away from others preferring instead to do his own thing but he does eventually start to fall for Rachel who happens to be a replicant. He starts to grow as persona and learn a bit more humility after meeting Rachel; it’s an important part of the movie.

About Rocky Balboa

Born in 1951, Rocky began his legacy in Philadelphia starting from small beginnings as loan shark enforcer and fighting in his local boxing club. By 1975, Rocky had fought in about 64 fights and won 44 of them with 38 of them being knockouts. Rocky took pride in that he never had his nose broken in any of his fights but it would eventually happen in a future fight.

When Heavyweight Champion Apollo Creed decided he wanted to face off with some of the local talent in Philadelphia, it was the lucky break the Rocky was looking for. After some intensive training, Rocky faced off with Apollo and while Apollo won by a split decision, it was the first time in his history where he wasn’t able to knock out his opponent. Apollo wasn’t quite happy about that or the rumors that Rocky was the winner of their previous match and so he faced him once again in 1976. But luck was on Rocky side as he took down Apollo and won the match.
