Red Skull started walking side-by-side with Adolf Hitler during World War II. Artist Joe Simon thought his likeness resembled a hot fudge sundae melting, but the exposed skull more closely resembled the cherry on top of the sundae. In the Marvel movie Captain America: The First Avenger, Red Skull is the supervillain that Captain America is trying to take down! If you want to know how bad Red Skull really is, he attempted to overtake Hitler and become the leading ruler of the Holocaust. He is often considered one of the greatest comic book villains of all time.
While Captain America is a prime example of how the Super Soldier Serum was supposed to work, Red Skull is the complete opposite of the desired outcome. It turned him from a normal (and super evil) human being into what we now know as Red Skull. With the extra evil pumping through his blood, Red Skull decided to move on from the Nazi Elite and attempt to take over the entire world.
