About Queen Elsa
Elsa is the daughter of King Agnarr and Queen Iduna as well as the older sister to Princess Anna. While Elsa is the ruler of Arendelle, she wasn’t the Snow Queen until she developed powers over snow and ice in her later years. Elsa also happens to be loosely based on the character of the Snow Queen which is a fairytale by Hans Christan Anderson.
Elsa gives off the air of a regal and poised ruler but underneath she battles with the fear of her powers which she has not told to anyone yet. It’s a secret that weighs heavy on her especially when it almost took the life of her younger sister when they were kids. While her power mounts out of control due to her fear and anxieties, her sister is able to help her overcome them and help her grow as a person while they eventually stop the eternal winter.
