Far from the traditional princess, Princess Bean is a raging alcoholic who is frustrated by the fact that being a princess doesn’t allow her to find her own way in life. Rebelling against this, Bean is often shown as being drunk, gambling in the local tavern, starting fights, and generally disobeying her father, King Zog.
Princess Bean lives in Dreamland and is usually found hanging out with her naive elf friend Elfo, and her personal demon Luci, who often encourages her unseemly behavior. About Princess Bean
Princess Bean is the star of the new animated show Disenchantment which is created by legendary cartoonist Matt Groening of Simpsons and Futurama fame. The Princess, whose full name is Princess Tiabeanie Mariabeanie de la Rochambeau Grunkwitz, is nothing like your regular television princesses. Her neglectful father, King Zog, has driven her to drink, and at age 19 she is already a raging alcoholic who repeatedly sneaks out of her chambers to drink, gamble and fight in the local tavern.
She rescues a stray elf named Elfo, and also meets her personal demon Luci, with the pair acting as the physical embodiment of good and evil influences which are usually portrayed as a devil and angel on someone’s shoulders. Princess Bean lost her mother at a young age, an event which further isolated her from her father and contributed to her desire to seek solace at the bottom of a bottle.
