About Peni Parker
The year is 3145. Peni lives with her adopted parents Aunt May and Uncle Ben after her father died when she was nine. After being bitten by the radioactive spider that lives inside SP//dr they share a telepathic connection and become best friends. Although she is only fourteen, she is very smart, skilled and takes on the task of fighting crime in New York with SP//dr.
Peni’s character in the Into the Spider-Verse is depicted as a cute anime girl. However, don’t let her sweetness fool you. She is still high skilled and very witty and her and SP//dr know how to throw a good punch. Peni and SP//dr use their combined knowledge to create the new override key that will shut down the machine and send everyone home. Although SP//dr gets highly damaged throughout, this doesn’t worry Peni as she can begin building a new body for her friend once she returns to her own dimension.
