He wrote the book, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, later becoming the standard textbook at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The film is a spinoff of the Harry Potter series created by the one and only J.K. Rowling. The film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them was released in November of 2016 as the ninth movie in the Harry Potter series.
