Mia Wallace is a fictional character made famous by Uma Thurman’s portrayal in the smash-hit 1994 Quentin Tarantino film Pulp Fiction. Mia is the wife of crime boss Marsellus Wallace and is considered to be one of the most iconic female characters in film from the 1990’s. When Marsellus goes out of town, he asks his hitman Vincent Vega (John Travolta) to take his wife out to dinner. Vincent reluctantly agrees but is concerned that other people may think it is a date.
The dinner goes smoothly, and the pair even wins a dancing contest at the restaurant. However, Mia’s drug problem causes problems for both of them upon their return back to her house where she overdoses on heroin. If you want to attend your next event as Mia Wallace, you’ll need a Red Hoodie, Gray T-Shirt, Black Jeans, and a pair of High Top Converse.
Mia Wallace Cosplay Costumes
Mia Wallace is a mysterious character. Sultry and seductive, but with a simplified view of the world. We think cosplay is pretty simple too – its all about having fun and being someone you’re not. While Mia has a seemingly lavish life as the wife of a wealthy crime boss, she is also lonely sheltered from the world. Her night out with Vincent Vega was a chance to do something different, which is why she is a great character to cosplay!
Not to mention the fact that Uma Thurman was nominated for an Oscar for her role as Mia, and critics and fans alike consider Mia Wallace one of the most interesting female film characters of the 90’s. But if you’re going to head out dancing as Mia, you’re going to need your very own Vincent Vega, so have a friend get dressed up as the smooth hitman played by John Travolta in the film, and get ready to dance the night away!
About Mia Wallace
Mia Wallace is a fictional character in Quentin Tarantino’s huge 1994 film Pulp Fiction. She is played by Uma Thurman, who scored an Oscar nomination for the role. Not bad for a character who is probably only considered secondary to the main cast. Mia is the wife of crime boss Marsellus Wallace, and she ends up being taken out to dinner by one of her husband’s hitmen Vincent Vega. Vega assures everyone it is not a date, merely a request from his boss Marsellus.
Things aren’t looking great for Mia when she is already doing drugs in her bathroom before the pair departs for dinner. However they do have a nice evening as they chatted about her past as an aspiring actress and entering a dance competition, doing The Twist to Chubby Checker’s song ‘You Never Can Tell.’ After dinner though, Mia overdoses on heroin and causes Vincent to take her to a drug dealer’s house for help, knowing that if she died, Marsellus would kill him too.
