Meliodas is the main character from the Seven Deadly Sins Manga series, and his character has an intense storyline to go along with it. Meliodas is over 3,000 years old and was once the leader of the Demon Clan’s Ten Commandments. He was predicted by many to become the next Demon King, but a wrench got thrown into his plans when he met the goddess Elizabeth.
Elizabeth was one of the Goddess Clan children, and it was against rules of the Demon and Goddess Clans for Meliodas to have a romantic relationship together. The two were punished and killed for the decisions they made, but the Meliodas realized his punishment was far worse than death. He had to continually watch his love, Elizabeth, die over and over again. He made a promise to Elizabeth that he would break the spell they were under, no matter what it would take on his behalf.
