While Mark Zuckerberg was attending Harvard, he launched Facebook from his dormitory room. On December 2012, Zuckerberg and his wife announced that over the course of their life they will give the majority of their wealth to advancing human potential and promoting equality. Then they announced they will give away 99 percent of their Facebook shares to the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative.
