About Luke Hobbs
Luke Hobbs, played byDwayne “The Rock” Johnson, is a Diplomatic Security Service agent in The Fast and the Furious series. Hobbs has been ordered to hunt down Dominic Toretto and his crew. Though he has some issues trying to keep up with Toretto, Hobbs comes across a police officer named Elena Neves who can help. She has a history of hunting down people to avenge others. Hobbs uses Elena to his advantage and finally tracks down the elusive team.
Hobbs and Toretto finally meet face-to-face and eventually get into an all out brawl. Toretto nearly kills Hobbs but eventually surrenders to Hobbs and his forces. While in pursuit to take Toretto and the others to jail, Hobbs and his crew are ambushed. His entire force is killed. In the moment, Hobbs makes the decision to join sides with Toretto and helps him escape from Reyes and his men.
