About Link
Starting his journey as a child and thus far no older than a teenager, despite the time passed, Link is no less a hero. His courage is his guide. A humble and hard worker, he seems destined to save the kingdom of Hyrule and countless others. Only seldom does he show any signs of cowardice and he more than makes up for it with his willingness to help others in need.
Despite Link not having any written dialog, he is not actually mute. In The Wind Waker he shouts “Come on!’ multiple times and invariably will grunt or shout to make an important point. Sometimes described as the immersion experience, his silence allows players to lend their own personifications to their character, allowing anyone to connect with our silent hero. A trait that seems to follow Link even in his silence, is his love of sleep. Also known to be left handed he is also an incredible swordsman.
