There aren’t many kind things one can say about Marvel Comic’s Kilgrave. He is self-centered, unpleasant, and oblivious to the plight of others. Distasteful and spoiled, he is intelligent enough to survive daily life but only just. Selfish and cruel, he is used to having his own way and does not take “no” for an answer. Jessica Jones is the only one to truly stand up to him, which results in an obsessive love/hate relationship. Their relationship is based on his desire to bend her to his or kill her trying.
He has the ability to control the minds of others and uses this skill to serve his own wicked means. Fortunately for the world, Kilgrave’s vision is relatively small compared to what he’s capable of doing. This is largely due to everything being handed to him. He is the very definition of a spoiled brat, with a personality that is simply rotten. He is an ignorant, physically weak sociopath, whom without his special abilities, is as worthless as his actions.
