About Joker (1989)

The Joker, once named Jack Napier, had a history of crime and violence. When Jack was a part of a chemical mishap in the 1989 movie Batman, his face was ruined and completely altered his personality passed the point of insanity. Jack refused to be known by his previous name and demanded that he be known as The Joker. He was Batman’s first enemy and ultimately one of his biggest fights of all-time.

What Batman didn’t realize, at first, was that Jack was the one who killed his mother and father in that dark alley on the most dreadful night of his life. This urged Batman to want to stop The Joker no matter what the circumstances or lengths he needed to go. The Joker enjoyed the challenge, and welcomed Batman to take his best shot!
