Hackerman is one of the main characters from the 2015 Kickstarter crowdfunded film Kung Fury. The comedy film is a parody of 1980’s martial arts and police action movies. The comedy movie that was screened at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival was over-the-top silly and almost-too-crazy-characters. Hackerman, portrayed by Leopold Nilsson, is the brilliant computer whiz, who (after a few attempts) finally gets Kung Fury sent to the correct time in the past to complete his mission. Hackerman is just one of the many characters to appear in the Kickerstart crowdfunded film, Kung Fury. Hackerman is brought into the film because he is a super computer whiz, and Kung Fury needs those skills! Kung Fury must go back into time to kill Adolf Hitler but will need Hackerman, played by Leopold Nilsson, to send him back in time. The first time, Hackerman sends Kung Fury to the age of Vikings instead of World War II.
Since Hackerman sent Kung Fury to the wrong time, the rest of the crew including Thor, triceratops, The Viking Babes, and a tyrannosaurus came to the aid of King Fury. Hackerman altered the time line and finally got the group the historical time of the Nazis. The team bans together to destroy the Nazi army, and then Hackerman revived Kung Fury to defeat Hitler once and for all! Kung Fury may have been the hero, but he couldn’t have accomplished his mission without the help of Hackerman.
