Sweet little George Elmer “Georgie” Denbrough didn’t stand a chance against Pennywise the Dancing Clown from Stephen King’s, It. The world-famous novel and movie was recreated as a 2017 film and had a huge response! Georgie appeared in this version just as he did in the original movie. He still haunted his brother Bill Denbrough every day after his death and Bill wanted nothing more than to find his little brother again. Georgie was one of the many children in Derry that went missing and were killed by Pennywise the Dancing Clown in Stephen King’s novel, It. Poor Georgie didn’t understand that Pennywise was luring him away with a balloon to add to the collection of children he has murdered.
Georgie’s older brother Bill Denbrough was torn up about losing his younger brother, and even years after losing him, he thought he could still find him! When the clown started haunting Bill night and day, Georgie began appearing in those nightmares. He would haunt Bill and make him think that he was still alive. Pennywise used Georgie to take Bill’s worse imaginable nightmare and make it a reality.
