In her final moments, Leia used the last of her strength to use the Force and call out to her son, Ben Solo. This final act helped redeem her son and bring him back from the dark side.
Played by Carrie Fisher, Leia Organa first appeared in the Star Wars franchise in 1977 at the age of 19. Thirty years later, Carrie Fisher appeared again as General Leia in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Unfortunately, Fisher tragically died in 2016 after filming for the movie.
