The only son in a family of three siblings on FOX’s animated show Bob’s Burgers, Gene Belcher is a jokester as well as an aspiring musician. He is very close to his family despite often being a pawn in his sister Louise’s schemes. He enjoys sound effects especially recorded fart noises. Gene loves music and plays the keyboard, tambourine, and the guitar. He is creative with a wild imagination. He writes about anything from his fear of snakes to an entire one man play.
Gene Belcher enjoys conversing with inanimate objects, very much like his father Bob Belcher. Labeled as the least responsible of the three children, Gene is a free spirit and easily distracted. Despite his immaturity, he does show mature insight throughout the series. Though not athletically gifted, Gene will always try to do his best in anything he attempts.
