Fran Bow is the popular indie psychological horror adventure video game developed and published by Killmonday Games in 2015. A point-and-click adventure game, Fran Bow gameplay involves seeking out various objects in the game world to combine and use them to solve puzzles. Within the game, there’s also the need to speak to other characters to learn more about the world as you progress. Several mini-games are also incorporated into the overall game as well.
Fran Bow was developed by Natalia Martinsson and Isak Martinsson of Swedish studio Killmonday Games. The main plot of the game revolves around key elements from Natalia’s life. The game, funded in part through an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign, raised $28,295 in August 2013. It was released for desktop platforms in 2015 with mobile versions following in 2016. The Fran Bow franchise sold 10,000 copies in its first month of release with the game receiving a score of 70/100 on the Metacritic reviews aggregation website.
