About Erik Killmonger
Erik Killmonger was born in Wakanda as N’Jakada, but following a mercenary attack on the kingdom which his father was reluctantly part of (and killed), a young N’Jakada was exiled to the United States. He split his time between studying and plotting revenge on King T’Challa, the man who sent him away. When returning to Wakanda with his new persona of Erik Killmonger, played by Michael B. Jordan, his desire for revenge was stronger than ever.
After convincing T’Challa to allow him back, Erik tried to take over the kingdom and punish T’Challa. With Killmonger’s goals to overthrow the kingdom and control Wakanda, he is squarely at odds with Black Panther’s desire to protect his homeland at all costs, making him the ultimate nemesis for the fan-favorite Avenger.
