Darth Nihilus's costume is characterized by its dark, ominous appearance. Key elements include a black, hooded robe, a distinctive white and red mask resembling a skull, and black gloves. Underneath the robe, wear dark, loose-fitting clothing, and a black sash or belt around the waist. The costume is designed to evoke a sense of dread and mystery.

To replicate Darth Nihilus's mask, you can either purchase a pre-made mask from a costume store or online, or craft one yourself using materials like papier-mâché, craft foam, or plastic. The mask should be primarily white, with red accents around the eyes and mouth to mimic the look of a skull.

The robe should be made of a black, flowing fabric with a slight sheen, such as polyester or satin, to give it a dark and imposing look. It should have long sleeves and a large hood to obscure the face, adding to the character's mysterious aura. The robe can be floor-length and should drape well.

Darth Nihilus is known more for his menacing presence than his words, as his voice is a chilling, unintelligible whisper due to his unique nature. However, you can use his aura and actions to communicate his character. For those who wish to speak as Nihilus, focus on expressing a deep, insatiable hunger for the Force, or use creative liberties to articulate his desire to consume life, such as: "I am the end.," "Hunger... Overwhelming." and "Existence, without meaning." Remember, the essence of Darth Nihilus lies more in his terrifying silence and the aura of dread he emits than in spoken words, making physicality and presence key to an authentic portrayal.

About Darth Nihilus

Darth Nihilus began as a human but lost everything he had during the Mandalorian Wars. He was left stranded on the planet Malachor V and was one of the only survivors when the planet was nearly obliterated. It was here that he discovered his hunger for power that unintentionally drained the life-force of another survivor. He was found by Darth Traya, a Dark Lord of The Sith who explained that his hunger was fuelled by the Force. Along with Traya and another apprentice named Sion, Darth Nihilus became a member of the Sith Triumvirate, but it didn’t last long with Nihilus and Sion conspiring to kill their mentor.

Darth Nihilus desired power above all else and set about trying to destroy the Jedi Order at all costs. One of his strengths was being able to sense parts of the galaxy making it easy for him to locate and wipe out the Jedi. In the end, however, he was brought to his end by a former pupil of his, Visas Marr.
