Columbia Cosplay Costumes
Columbia from Rocky Horror Picture Show would fall under the list of “committed cosplay” characters to emulate. But, that’s one of her best qualities! To pull off her signature look, we recommend either ordering her costume off the internet or picking it up yourself from a local costume shop. With such a distinct look, you want to get it right. A wig is always an option, but even those with longer hair can pull it back in a ponytail and tuck it under your tophat.
Columbia’s sparkling shoes can also be purchased online. While placing your order, add a pair of fishnet stockings and blue ankle socks. For group cosplay, add other characters from Rocky Horror Picture Show like Frank, Magenta, and Riff Raff. Make sure to check out the featured cosplay pics for more style ideas. Send your pics in too! We’d love to see your best Columbia costume!
The gorgeous groupie, Columbia, from Rocky Horror Picture Show is an unashamed exhibitionist. “Accidentally” flashing her chest on more than a few occasions, she works overtime trying to gain the attention of others. Though alternating between her love for Eddie and Frank, she isn’t appreciated by either. She’s gutsy and very much aware of her circumstances. She is open to express her resentment of men for taking more than they ever give.
We all assume she’s human, but fan theory speculates that she very well may be an alien like Frank. Though infatuated with both Frank and Eddie, Columbia and Magenta have been known to be intimate. She is loud and dramatic, but resentful when Frank kills Eddie. Before she has much time to lament his loss and berate Frank for his dismissive love, she is shot and killed by Riff Raff. A sad ending for a complicated woman.
