Black Widow’s classic Avengers-inspired costume combines a fitted black jumpsuit, red hair, dark boots, a belt, and wrist accessories. This guide follows Natasha Romanoff’s black-suit look associated with Scarlett Johansson’s early Avengers appearances. It does not combine that outfit with the white suit or later braided-hair versions.
The updated main set includes the jumpsuit, belt, holster pieces, and two gloves, so those accessories do not need separate duplicate purchases. Add the red bob wig and black boots, then check the full fit before an event. The optional foam pistol is an oversized costume prop with a different design from Natasha’s film sidearm.

How to Put the Costume Together
1. Fit the Black Jumpsuit
Try on the jumpsuit over any preferred base layer and check that you can sit, bend, and reach comfortably. Keep the front zipper at a comfortable height. The supplied belt and holster pieces finish the black tactical silhouette.
2. Fasten the Included Accessories
Fit the included belt at your waist and adjust the holster straps without tightening them against your legs. Add the two included gloves after securing the buckles.
3. Arrange the Red Bob
Fit the red wavy bob wig and sweep the front away from your eyes.
4. Add Black Boots
Wear the black knee-high boots and check the jumpsuit’s leg length with them. Choose a comfortable heel and fit; ordinary black boots from home can also work. Walk in the complete outfit to make sure the holster straps do not interfere with your stride.
5. Choose the Optional Foam Prop
The gray foam pistol is a non-firing costume prop with an orange tip. It is larger than Natasha’s film pistols; keep it as a hand-carried prop rather than forcing it into a holster. Do not force it into a small holster. Carry it only where venue rules allow, or leave the holsters empty for a prop-free version.
Finishing the Black Widow Costume
Avoid Duplicate Purchases
The main costume bundle already includes a belt, holster pieces, and gloves. A ready-made outfit below is an alternative to assembling the pieces separately. Add the red wig and black boots to finish the look.
Pair With the Avengers
Hawkeye is a natural duo partner. For a larger team, add Thor, Captain America, or other Avengers with distinct colors and silhouettes. The outfit remains recognizable without a weapon prop or an acrobatic pose.

Black Widow Cosplay Ideas
Keep the red hair and black suit as the main visual cues. For a group, pair Black Widow with Hawkeye, Thor, or Nick Fury; other Avengers can join for a larger team. See the Superhero costume collection for more group ideas.

About Black Widow
Black Widow is the character played by Scarlett Johansson in Marvel Studio films including The Avengers. Trained as a Russian spy and sleeper agent, Natasha Romanova is asked to join The Avengers because she is one of the world’s best assassins and spies. Her name is fitting because she wears all black and has an electric shock weapon called “Widow’s Bite.” Formerly an enemy of Marvel’s Iron Man, she has since joined his cause.
Her attitude matches up with her name because she doesn’t take much harassment from anyone whether they’re on her team or not. While Romanova is an intelligent and independent woman, she knows how to use her brains and beauty to manipulate others into getting what she wants. She tricks people which is to an actual black widow spider that tricks their prey before death. She is loyal to her team and she knows they have her back when it comes everything goes bad.
