He quickly overtook the Nightmare Realm, but found that it too would collapse due to its lack of rules or physical nature. Before the collapse, Bill Cipher heard of a prophecy that indicated the joining of the Nightmare Realm and the third dimension together. This prophecy gave Bill a new sense of purpose!

He talked to humans in dreams and got a man from Gravity Falls to build an inter-dimensional gateway for him. After several attempts, humans discovered a way to destroy Bill with various zodiac symbols. However, this was hundreds of years ago! All that remained was a warning marked in a cave painting. When another human summons him, Bill doesn’t let the opportunity slip through his grasp and tries to gain the trust of the human.
