If you’re wondering what words we’d use to describe Beetlejuice, they’d most likely be crude, selfish and obnoxious. From pulling nasty tricks to almost scheming Lydia into marrying him, it’s easy to see why people aren’t fond of this ghost. Beetlejuice’s history isn’t quite known as he has a habit of fabricating a few things here and there, but it’s thought that he is a graduate of Harvard Business School and survived through the black plague. What is known though is that Beetlejuice was once an assistant to Juno but he was too troublesome and eventually left to do his own thing.
The way Beetlejuice advertises is by putting up flies and such all around and it’s one of these that the Maitlands end up seeing in order to hire him. They hire him by saying his name three times and he ends up wrecking a ton of havoc but luckily you can repeat his name three more times to just get rid of him.
