About Batman (2016)
Batman was created in 1939 by artist Bob Kane and writer Bill Finger and first appeared in DC Comics Detective Comics #27. He was originally named the “Bat-Man.” The secret identity that of Batman is none other than Bruce Wayne, owner of Wayne Enterprises in Gotham City. After witnessing the murder of his parents Dr. Thomas Wayne and Martha Wayne, Bruce swore vengeance against criminals. And he kept that promise.
Eventually, Bruce Wayne came up with the bat-inspired persona and trained himself to fight crime and stop criminals. Unlike many superheroes from the DC Universe, Batman does not possess any superpowers and instead relies on his genius intellect, martial art abilities, and detective skills to help keep Gotham safe while he fights during the night.
