About Ant-Man
Ant-Man, whose real name is Scott Lang, is a Marvel superhero and part of the Avengers. Ant-Man is portrayed by Paul Rudd, who played him in the very first movie in 2015. He later appeared as part of the Avengers in Captain America: Civil War. His life started ordinarily enough having a Master’s Degree in Electric Engineering. But instead of using his skills as a system engineer, he chose a life of crime. He stole from criminals until he was jailed and separated from his wife and daughter.
After he got out, he did another “job” and stole the Ant-Man suit. But, it was actually an elaborate plan by Hope Van Dyne to recruit Scott Lang to be his successor as Ant-Man. As a result, Lang became Ant-Man and was able to telepathically control ants, shrink in size while exponentially increasing his power, and shoot bioelectric blasts from his wrist gauntlets.
