Agent Harry’s past is rarely discussed in the Kingsman movies—Kingsman: The Secret Service and Kingsman: The Golden Circle. But, here is what we know about him. At the start of his career, he wanted to be a lepidopterist but instead joined the British Army as an officer. There, he was recruited by the Kingsman who saw potential in him to be a fantastic agent (which he did in fact become).
The Kingsman were an old institution whose agents started as tailors, clothing the most powerful people on Earth. But in WW1, they lost their heirs but had billions in cash. They decided to channel their wealth for the greater good, revamping the Kingsman into an independent intelligence agency where Agent Harry operated under the codename “Galahad.”
Agent Harry shares a profound relationship with Eggsy, a boy whose father saved Agent Harry’s life. Both Agent Harry and Eggsy’s father were on a mission in the Middle East where Eggsy’s father sacrificed his life for the team. After many years, Agent Hart, seeing the potential of Eggsy, recruited him to be part of the Kingsman and together, they brought down the evil villain, Richmond Valentine.
